After Chelsea failed to sign Everton defender John Stones, the club now turns their attention to another player with a strong history of consistency and class. Laporte is only 21 but already has impressed many with his play in La Liga.
The Blues are not the only club in the Premier League entertaining the idea of signing Laporte, according to Express Sport. Manchester United and Arsenal have Laporte on their radars and rightfully so, each club needs more assistance at the back.
