Dave and Odette Annable's little girl has finally arrived. The 30-year-old "Astronaut Wives" actress welcomed her daughter, Charlie Mae, with her husband on Monday, Us Weekly confirmed. This is Odette's first child with the "Brother & Sister" actor whom she married in 2010.
In her own announcement, the actress tweeted, "Dave and I are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Annable family ... Charlie Mae Annable. Born Sept. 7th."
The new mommy announced her daughter's birth by sharing a photo of her newborn daughter's hand wrapped around daddy's finger.
"Dave and I are thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of the Annable family..." she wrote, alongside the pic. "Charlie Mae Annable. Born September 7th. I took Labor Day quite literally this year. Dave gave me this blanket on Mother's Day and baby Charlie and I slept with it our entire hospital stay. Charlie is a lucky lady to have you as a papa, we love you so much @dave_annable. Thank you all for the love that you've shown us through this journey."
The new proud father posted an Instagram photo of the newest family member, but did not fail to mention the irony of his daughter being born on Labor Day, writing, "Odette and I couldn't be happier to announce the arrival of the love of our lives. Welcome to the world Charlie Mae Annable. She was born September 7th, Labor Day. Team Annable did not get the memo that 'Labor Day' wasn't to be taken literally. Charlie is a holiday all on her own."
"Mom and baby are in great health, and dad hasn't stopped crying since," he added. "Shocker. Charlie is one lucky girl to have you as a mother @odetteannable. You are made from heaven. #proudhusband #proudpapa #lifehasawholenewmeaning"
In May, Dave announced that his wife was pregnant via Twitter by wishing her both a happy birthday and congratulating her on her first Mother's Day. The couple learned their babies sex during one of their two babies showers this summer.
"He just cried like a baby when he found out [it was a girl]," Odette told People.com in July. "Because it was a little girl, he was like, 'Oh my God, what am I going to do?' He's so sensitive already, but it's on overload."
