Andy Reid returns to Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday for the first time since being fired last season from the Eagles. Reid, who spent 14 years in Philadelphia as the head coach, insists his only concern is winning the game.

"In this business you're focused in on getting your team ready to play," Reid told the Chiefs' official website, via ESPN. "That's where my energy is going to go. I haven't really thought about that other part at all. I don't necessarily plan on thinking about that. I want to make sure I concentrate on the game at hand and anything else becomes a distraction and I'm not going to let that happen.

"Every coach tells you these Thursday nights, it's a quick turnaround, and you just have to go. It's something you have to do. You buckle down and make sure you get it done."

Opposite of Reid on the sideline will be Chip Kelly, the man whose new offense has taken the league by surprise. Despite a 1-1 record, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has looked like an entirely different quarterback in Kelly's system. In two games, Vick has completed 38-of-61 passes for 631 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Reid helped Vick resurrect his career. Despite their four-year history together in Philadelphia, Vick understands Thursday is business.

"It's just another football game," Vick said. "We have to get ready, we can't focus on the whole dynamic of the situation. We have a football game to prepare for, and we have to do everything to ensure that we have a chance to win the football game. That is what is most important. It's our third game in 11 days, but we're conditioned.

"We're ready for it."

TV: NFL Network, 8:25 p.m. ET.

Philadelphia is a 3-point favorite, according to ESPN. The over/under is 50.0 points.
