Electronic Arts (EA), publishers of Sim City have announced the release date of the new DLC pack for PC and Mac, called Cities of Tomorrow as November 12.
The City Expansion pack has been designed to help gamers help grow the city skywards. Cities of Tomorrow will be receiving Multizone Mega Tower that will actually help the gamers to shape up the city as they want.
"With SimCity Cities of Tomorrow, players can build the future as they imagine it. Transport your Sims on MagLev, power your cities with fusion reactors or tidal wave generators, manufacture a legion of drones to serve your Sims and build massive MegaTowers that dwarf modern skyscrapers," EA stated in a press release. "We're giving you plausible technologies to take your cities onto a journey 50 years into the future. What will you create?"
The City Expansion pack will bring in added goodies for the gamers that include a larger map and new city specializations with more regions. The greater city specializations will bring improved transportation facilities but will also challenge the players in the form of a giant corporation Omega Co that "strip-mine natural resources and pollute in the name of feeding consumerism," says gamespot.
It's up to the players to either pick new sims (citizens) to lead a peaceful life or to make them a part of the exploited labor force. The players will be able to incorporate further changes to their lives with the 'disaster scenario' that comes as an exclusive with the City Expansion pack.
EA has not revealed the price for the Expansion pack yet.
