Jay Z and Beyonce have proved once again that they are a true power couple. The hip-hop duo have grabbed the number one spot as Forbes highest-earning celebrity couple with an estimated $95 million in earnings from June 2012 to June 2013.
Jay Z and Beyonce have used their name to build successful empires and have tons of hit songs under their belts. According to the magazine, Jay Z's "Watch the Throne" album went platinum and launched a word tour that raked in a total of $1.4 million a night in America. Beyonce, who is currently on her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" is said to bring in about $2 million a night.
Adding to their fortune is the singer's fragrance collection and her clothing line called "House of Deron." Jay Z is part owner of the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which is hone to the Brooklyn Nets. He recently sold his stake in the team and started his own sports agency called Roc Nation Sports which represents Kevin Duran and Victor Cruz.
The couple reportedly isn't done growing their empire just yet. Forbes reports their daughter Blue Ivy could soon start bringing in some money for her parents. She has already been featured on one of her Dad's songs, "Glory," and her parents are petitioning to get her name trademarked which could mean Blue Ivy baby clothes and toys.
Together Beyonce andJay Z earned $15 million more than the second highest-earning couple on the list, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. Forbes estimated they made almost $80 million between June 2012 and June 2013. Bundchen, who is the highest-paid supermodel in the world, out-earned her husband by $4 million.
Besides modeling she also earns money from her flip flop line with Brazilian footwear company Grendenem which she is also part owner.
Rounding out the top wealthiest couples are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ($50 million), Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis ($35 million) and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian ($30 million).
