Chelsea RUMORS: Victor Valdes On Jose Mourinho's Radar For January?

Victor Valdes could replace the injured Thibaut Courtois for Chelsea in January, according to Bleacher Report. Since news broke last week over Courtois injuring his knee, the Blues are looking very "blue" at the goalkeeper spot.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, it will not be the only club interested in the services of Valdes when January comes around. Sevilla is also looking into signing the Spanish international. Manchester United is spoiled with keepers and letting one walk would not hurt their season's production one bit.

Asmir Begovic is holding down the fort in goal for Chelsea right now, however, the Blues continue to fall down the Premier League table, and now sit in 17th out of 20 teams. Chelsea has won just one game this season, and has one draw and three loses.

The offense is struggling, but has plenty of talent to make a difference in the scoreline of most games. Even with an average goalkeeper, there is no excuse for Chelsea to be near the relegation zone. Bringing in Valdes would make an immediate impact for Chelsea, and potentially rescue them from missing the Champions League or Europa League.
