The ongoing case against FIFA is gaining more ground against several individuals and entities within the organization, according to BBC Sport. Just months after the FBI started making arrests around Europe of multiple FIFA officials, the world soccer governing body continues to be under investigation.
Many still feel that FIFA President Sepp Blatter resigned a little too conveniently, and he still denies any involvement with the supposed scandals. Even with Blatter stepping down, the investigation still does not indicate if he is subject to the investigation or not.
There will be a new FIFA president in the near future. Although no one knows who that is yet, the elections are still on at this point. At this point, one would assume that anyone besides Blatter is going to do a much better job.
