It's been nine months since "Real Housewives of New Jersey" reality star Teresa Giudice began serving her 15-month jail sentence. Her husband, Joe Giudice, stars in his own three-part special "The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In" and a new sneak peek shows how he's handling raising the couple's four daughters, E! Online reported.
"I mean he's like pretty good," their oldest daughter Gia said about her dad. "He helps out, he tries his best but it's rough without my mom there."
In the clip, Joe steps into his role as Mr. Mom and catches middle daughter Milania as she tried to sneak a cup of coffee past him and laying down the ground rules for Gia's date for her 8th grade prom.
"It's hard keeping up with all these kids, I'm doing a lot," Joe tells the cameras. "I think I even lost about ten pounds."
Family dinners still go on without Teresa, and her brother Joe Gorga and her sister-in-law Melissa step up to help out with the girls. Gorga gets emotional and chokes up when talking about his sister.
"When it comes to my family, I'm a little b----," Gorga said.
"Everybody's a little b---- when it comes to family, Jo Jo," Joe told his brother-in-law.
But Teresa still calls home regularly from prison and even leads her daughters in prayer, asking that her sentence move as quickly as possible so she could come back home.
"Oh, please God bring me home to my family as soon as possible," Teresa said over the phone as her family listens via speakerphone. "And bless my four daughters and my husband."
