Justin Timberlake has pulled the curtain off his new single, "TKO" for over 2 million fans late Thursday via Instagram. The new single is Timberlake's second sampling from the first music album of 2013, "20/20 Experience 2 of 2."
Justin Timberlake surprised his millions of fans by releasing a second single from his first music album of 2013, "20/20 Experience 2 of 2." The new single, TKO, is in collaboration with his long time music partner Timbaland. The Grammy winner teased the new single by posting short fifteen second clips showing Timberlake in the studio singing to an uptempo beat.
To create a sense of excitement, Timerlake posted a handwritten message before teasing the video on his official Instagram account. A snap which read "should I release a new single today?" went viral and got more than 150,000 favorites with several fans replying to the message with a huge yes, of course. Soon after, Timberlake shared a picture of himself in the music studio behind the mic.
The next day, Timberlake teased the audience with short clips of his new single and also shared another picture, which seemed like a cover shot. Finally, toward the end of Thursday, Timberlake released the full song on his website. TKO, is quite different from the previous single "Take Back the Night" from his upcoming music album.
Timberlake released his first single "Take Back the Night," for his new music album in July, which got a great response from millions of his fans. JT's "20/20 Experience 2 of 2" is set to release September 30.
Timberlake released the new single following a busy week. He was in Las Vegas Wednesday, attending the premiere of his latest film "Runner Runner" with Jessica Biel. He is scheduled to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Saturday and a free outdoor show Tuesday, at the Hollywood Boulevard.
