Kris Jenner tweeted to her Twitter followers on Sept. 20 that she was calling a "family meeting" and linked to a Keek video. In the 20 second clip all her kids could be seen sitting on a couch talking, Hollywood Life reports. The only people not at the meeting were Kanye West, Lamar Odom or Bruce Jenner. Was Kris Jenner calling the meeting to address the drug allegations surrounding the NBA player?
"This is what a family meeting looks like at my house, ladies and gentlemen," she said on the video. "Nobody is paying attention to me. Nothing ever changes. Thank you, I have no control."
She shut the video off before the meeting got started but it's being speculated that the meeting could have had something to do with Khloe Kardashian's husband. The athlete has constantly been in the news over his alleged drug addiction and cheating scandal.
Three women have come forward with claims that had affairs with the athlete and TMZ broke the story that he had a serious crack cocaine addiction. When the gossip site caught up with Odom he denied that he had a problem telling the website that he was "happy" and his marriage to the reality star was doing fine.
Several sources, who have all remained anonymous, have been telling different sites that Odom is in denial and his marriage is definitely suffering. The couple has not been spotted together in months and the reality star recently dropped Odom as a last name on Instagram.
According to Hollywood Life, Jenner knew something odd was going on with the former Clippers player and reportedly warned her daughter about him. A source told the website that she lost her trust in Odom after he insisted on buying an apartment in downtown Los Angeles near the Staples Center.
Reportedly, he wanted a place close to where he was playing so he could "unwind" after games. Jenner didn't understand why he couldn't make the short drive to his house after games and relax with his wife. Jenner told her daughter that something fishy was going on, the source said.
"When Lamar was so eager to have a place near Staples where he could 'unwind' after basketball games, this idea did not sit well with Kris," the source said. "She told Khloe that she thought it was strange - why couldn't Lamar just have a driver bring him back to his seven bedroom home to be with his wife?"
"Kobe Bryant lives further away in Newport Beach and he doesn't have a luxury apartment in downtown LA. The same goes for a bunch of other players," the source continued. "Kris warned Khloe back then this was not a good sign. That if he wanted to stay near Staples, he could just stay in a hotel."
According to several reports, Odom was using the apartment to hide his alleged crack cocaine addiction from Kardashian.
Ever since his troubles have been made public the reality star has reportedly kicked him out of their house and told him that he either needed to get help or the marriage was over. Until he gets himself together he has been living at the downtown apartment.
According to TMZ, Odom did a secret stint in rehab but checked out after one day. He then tried to get help for his problems by trying an outpatient drug program but he failed to show up to his first meeting with a drug counselor.
Jenner has reportedly been butting heads with Kardashian over the Odom drama. The reality star wants to keep her husband's problems out of the spotlight while her mother wants her to divorce him and move on.
