In season six, episode 11 of MTV's "Teen Mom 2," Jenelle Evans got arrested on domestic violence charges after a scuffle with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, Leah Messer's ex-husbands bonded over beers, Kailyn Lowry's husband Javi Marroquin told her to take her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera to court over a child support agreement, and Chelsea Houska struggled with letting her daughter call her new boyfriend Cole DeBoer "dad."
Jenelle Evans revealed that she was hooking up with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith again. The couple broke up earlier in the season after a fight ensued at their home, which resulted in Griffith getting arrested for criminal domestic violence after they wrestled for her engagement ring.
But, Griffith was seeing another girl while attempting to reconcile with Evans, and even brought his new girlfriend over to Evans' house to pick up their son, 1-year-old Kaiser. Evans fought with Griffith about the incident when she went to pick up Kaiser later that night and Griffith called the cops, filing criminal domestic violence charges against Evans. Police placed a warrant out for Evans' arrest.
"I turn myself in tomorrow," Evans confided in a friend. "I'm just really angry about this whole situation and when you betray me that bad, there's no coming back."
While Leah Messer was away getting help at a rehabilitation center for anxiety and depression, her ex-husbands Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert got together to bond over beers and discuss Messer's problems. They both assumed that Messer was in rehab for prescription pill abuse and worried about their children's safety while in Messer's care. Calvert shares a daughter (Addy) with Messer and Simms is the father of Messer's twin girls, Ali and Aleeah.
"They're gonna be alright," Simms told Calvert, "as long as we make sure they're alright."
Kailyn Lowry was getting along cordially with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, until time came to discuss increasing Rivera's monthly child support for their son Isaac. Lowry's husband, Javi Marroquin, tried to push Lowry to taking the case to court and letting the legal system handle the payment arrangement.
After Rivera missed Isaac's soccer game and pre-k graduation (because he said he felt uncomfortable around Lowry and Marroquin), Lowry started to side with her husband.
"Take his a-- to court," Marroquin told Lowry.
Chelsea Houska hass been with her new boyfriend Cole DeBoer for close to a year and the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level. DeBoer is moving in with Houska and her daughter Aubree, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Adam Lind. But Aubree didn't get to spend time with Lind on Father's Day because he had plans that weekend with a new girlfriend, and Aubree made a heartbreaking confession to Houska.
She told Houska that she wished Lind were more like DeBoer.
"You do?" Houska asked Aubree. "Oh, I know that'd be nice wouldn't it? But at least you have Coley, huh?"
