Brisbane has struggled in the batting department for most of the tournament. Joe Burns, who scored a 45 against Trinidad & Tobago, has been the one bright spot for Brisbane's bowlers, CricBuzz.com reports.
"We have to improve soon if we have to win the rest of the games now," Burns said, via CricBuzz.com. "There is no more chance to make errors."
Although the Titans lost to Chennai, the Titans' batters have turned in overall good performances through the Champions League tournament. Skipper Henry Davids and AB de Villiers have led the Titans' batting efforts. The weakest area for the Titans is their bowling, which the squad hopes to improve with better performances from Morne Morkel and Marchant de Lange.
"The great thing was that we really fought right till the end with the ball and in the field. That was the sign of a winning team," said de Villiers after the loss to Chennai. "So, I'm pretty sure that we will bounce back from this loss."
