GTA V Facing Issues with Vehicle Customization, Xbox 360

GTA V has created a boom in the market with record breaking sales of $1 billion in the first three days of its launch on Oct. 17. However, the grand success of the game is being slightly overshadowed of late with a couple of GTA V players complaining about the vanishing of the upgraded vehicles and crashing of the older Xbox 360 consoles while playing the game.

One of the biggest attractions of the latest GTA edition is the vehicle customization and the upgraded ones can be collected from the garages on attaining specific levels. But a lot of GTA V gamers have recently complained about the vehicles going missing from the garages once they are upgraded meaning a complete wastage of time spent on redesigning the vehicle.

The game developer has no immediate solution to it but will be fixing the issue soon, said Rockstar North on its support page addressing the GTA fan followers. "Unfortunately, we do not currently have a workaround to recover a car if it is missing," reads the official Rockstar Support Page. "Also please note that vehicle saves in the garage of one safehouse may not show up in the garage of a different safehouse."

Rockstar said the reason behind the sudden disappearance of the vehicles might be because the players park their vehicles in garages of different safe houses. The game developer cautioned the gamers from availing all the perks for the moment. "In the meantime, please try to avoid parking a car in a garage, driving one already in a garage, or getting in a default vehicle, when playing as a character other than the one with your upgrades," Rockstar said on a statement.

While Rockstar has been striving hard to overcome the vehicle issue for GTA V, a couple of GTA V owners have reported that their consoles collapsed on installing the game. The complaints have been primarily pointed out by the old Xbox 360 holders over the forum.

One of the forum poster has cited a fix to the console issue that specifies '"deleting all GTA 5 game data, clearing the system cache three times and deleting all marketplace data from storage system items, unplugging the console and then installing the game discs after restart," states Polygon.
