Although Trinidad & Tobago's batting was questionable, the squad's bowling came through in its win over the Brisbane Heat. Ravi Rampaul, IB Times reports, has been the strength of Trinidad & Tobago's bowling.
Hyderabad has made a strong push in the CLT20 by winning two of its three qualifying matches - wins over Kandurata and Faisalabad, but a loss to Otago, CLT20.com reports. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan, Parthiv Patel and JP Duminy have provided solid batting performances for the squad.
"I'm glad I've got a good run in the qualifying stage and I can take that momentum in the tournament," Duminy told CLT20.com, via IB Times. "I've always enjoyed hitting at No. 3 or 4, irrespective of the formats. It's all about opportunities. There are opportunities that have come up with the national team as well as for the Sunrisers for me to bat higher up the order and now it's all about me grabbing them.
"I need to assess the conditions and figure out how I want to plan my innings; the better I can do it, the more runs I will make at this position."
