Jim Carey posted a photo on his WhoSay account of himself and actor Jeff Daniels on the set of "Dumb & Dumber To".
The photo has super fans beyond thrilled to see production is a go, and the actors share the sentiment.
"Jim posted a WhoSay pic of himself and Jeff Daniels -- aka Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne -- attempting to read Jim's new children's book called, 'How Roland Rolls,'" TMZ reports. "It looks like they're standing in between their trailers on the movie set ... which is a good sign cameras are already rolling on the long-anticipated (almost 20 years now) 'Dumb and Dumber To'...Then again, they could just be lost in a trailer park. Either way ... awesome."
Daniels told HollywoodLife.com he was excited to begin filming in Atlanta.
"They best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius," Daniels told the gossip site, referring to his costar Carrey.
However, Daniels did admit he fears the original film will make the sequel look "lame."
"There are some things that's we're going to do in Dumb and Dumber 2 that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," Daniels told HollywoodLife.com.
"Pales in comparison and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it," the actor added.
"Dumb &Dumber" premiered in 1994, and will reportedly be released in 2014.
Carrey's first children's book, How Roland Rolls, was released on Tuesday (buy it here). Below is the synopsis of the book:
"HOW ROLAND ROLLS is a story about a wave named Roland who's afraid that, one day, when he hits the beach, his life will be over. But when he gets deep, he's struck by the notion that he's not just a wave - he's the whole big, wide ocean! The story shows humanity's interconnectedness through the metaphor of a wave in the ocean."
Warning: the following scene in the video is pretty gross and NSFW.
