NHLer Jaromir Jagr Calls Blackmailer's Bluff Over Scandalous Photo With 18-Year-Old Model (REPORT)

As is befitting of a man who has developed a reputation over two-plus decades in the NHL as not only one of the league's greats, but also as a guy who likes to have fun, fun and more fun, future Hall of Famer Jaromir Jagr isn't all that concerned with public perception of his life off the rink. Evidence of this has never come through clearer than it did last week when Jagr, reportedly the target of a blackmail scheme, responded to the attempted extortion with a big shoulder shrug. Czech tabloid Blesk reported this weekend that an 18-year-old Moravian model named Catherine snapped a selfie of herself and the 43-year-old Jagr in bed together.

The photo isn't just scandalous because of the pair's age difference - Catherine is said to be dating a Czech junior player, Domink Rudl. So when one enterprising Czech citizen came across the photo as it circulated on social media, they hatched an idea to attempt to extort 50,000 crowns - approximately $2,000 - from Jagr.

Except Jagr being Jagr, he wasn't having any of it.

Per Yahoo Sports' Puck Daddy blog, Jagr responded by telling the blackmailer that he can do whatever he wants with the photo, reaffirming that Jagr is the actual inspiration for those "Most Interesting Man in the World" beer commercials.

Adding to the ridiculousness of the report, Rudl, per Puck Daddy, views Jagr as one of his idols.
