Chelsea may have a divide in their locker room after Kurt Zouma called teammate Diego Costa a cheater following their match against Arsenal, according to Bleacher Report.
After Costa committed multiple fouls against the Gunners over the weekend, fans and teammates of Chelsea are voicing their opinions on their top striker.
Zouma told reporters after the match that he was not surprised by Costa's antics and that is just how he plays the game, according to the Mirror.
When a player admits that their OWN teammate is a cheater, should that not raise a few red flags to league officials? One would certainly think.
Costa committed at least two red card offenses against Arsenal but only received a yellow card. He in turn got two different Gunners sent off for their retaliation against him. Thankfully, there is a report that Costa will miss some time after Premier League officials reviewed the game tape and Costa's altercations.
This incident cannot go unpunished, especially for a high-profile player like Costa. If he is allowed to get away with his major fouls, it will send a horrific message to the rest of the soccer world that there will not be severe punishments for major fouls.
