Food Hack: Cooking Omelette? Use Freezer Bags For No Mess With This Recipe (VIDEO)

If you're pressed for time and can't stand the idea of waking up only to toil in the kitchen making breakfast, there's still a way for you to enjoy a hearty meal packed with protein. This breakfast hack from Allrecipes is perhaps one of the easiest and cleanest ways to cook an omelette. The one item you'll need to make it work perfectly is a freezer bag!

"These omelettes in a bag are perfect for camping, family reunions or a kid's sleepover," according to the video. It is also recommended to use freezer bags (not just storage bags) for this recipe, since freezer bags are "sturdier and will ensure the liquid ingredients don't leak," according to Allrecipes' comment on YouTube.

Ingredients and things you'll need:

2 eggs

Your favorite ingredients for omelettes, such as cheese, ham or onions

Freezer bag

Saucepan

Procedure: Break the eggs inside the bag and then seal it. Shake or squeeze the bag so that the yolks and whites are beaten. Open the bag and then drop the other ingredients. Seal it once more, but make sure that the air is squeezed out. Toss and turn the bag to mix the ingredients. Don't be put off by how it appears.

In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil and then drop the bag. Let it cook for 13 minutes, while you take a quick shower or start preparing your things for the rest of the day. Once done, carefully roll the omelette out of the bag and onto a plate for a perfect breakfast.
