Rajasthan is coming off a win over T20-league winners Mumbai. The team's confidence will be even higher when it plays on Wednesday at the Sawai Man Singh stadium, where it can stretch its current win streak there of nine to ten with a win over the Lions, CricBuzz.com reports.
"The wicket here suits us because we have the batsmen who are good shotmakers, bowlers too know the right areas to bowl on it," Rajasthan captain Rahul Dravid said, via CricBuzz.com.
Still, despite being the favorites to win, Rajasthan isn't taking its opponent lightly.
"Lions have a decent team and good, experienced bowlers," Rajasthan's Ajinkya Rahane said, via IB Times. "Sohail Tanvir is there, and they have Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Imran Tahir, Aaron Phangiso - they have a good team.
"As for us, we are not depending on any individual bowler or batsman, we want to play as a team the way we did against Mumbai Indians, where everyone contributed towards winning. Vikramjeet Malik bowled well, but the others supported him well - that is also very crucial."
