Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings and rapper The Game reportedly got into a fight at a club. Game punched Jennings in the face at Lure's "Toxic Party," which was ultimately shut down when another altercation broke out between both parties, HipHollywood.com reports.
Both were in attendance over the weekend at Lure's "Toxic" event, a popular day party in Los Angeles. Jennings was hosting his birthday party at the club, where Game is a regular at. The two got into an argument over who could use the deejay's microphone, and Game ended up punching Jennings in the mouth.
"Game feels like Toxic is his, and he didn't like that Jennings was hogging the microphone," a witness told HipHollywood. "He felt like he was being disrespected."
"Game tried to have words with him, and it just escalated quickly and Game hit Brandon in the mouth," another source told the website.
The fight didn't last long. Club security quickly broke up the fight, but neither Jennings nor Game was ejected from the club. The party was, however, later shut down when another fight erupted "between both parties."
Jennings and Game met on at least one other occasion. The pair played on opposing teams in the LA-based Drew League during the summer, according to Yardbarker.com.
