Sony Pictures and Rovio have unveiled the first trailer for "The Angry Birds Movie," showcasing the first fight between the technicolored feathered allies and the evil green pig villains. You can watch the trailer for the animated feature below!
The primary trio of Angry Birds will be headlined by Jason Sudeikis ("Horrible Bosses") as Red, a bird with a temper (get it, angry birds?). Josh Gad ("Frozen") will play the fast flying Chuck and Danny McBride ("This is the End") will voice the bombastic Bomb.
Bill Hader ("Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs") will play a pig, Maya Rudolph ("Bridesmaids") will voice Matilda and Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones") will be the Mighty Eagle.
But what will the game adaptation be about?
"The question Rovio gets more than anything is 'Why are these birds so angry?'" Producer John Cohen ("Despicable Me") said previously. "This is the origin story for how that conflict came to exist between birds and little green piggies."
The film will hit theaters on July 1, 2016.
