‘Glee’ Season 5 Spoilers: First Look at Demi Lovato and Naya Rivera’s Character and Beatles Duet (SLIDESHOW/LISTEN)

The new season of "Glee" doesn't kick off until tomorrow (Sept. 26) but some awesome behind-the-scenes photos have been leaked of Demi Lovato and Naya Rivera's characters.

We already know that Lovato will be playing a struggling New York City artist named Dani who becomes the love interest of Rivera's character, Santana.

Rivera accidentally spilled the details to MTV News. It had been speculated that "Glee" producers were going to change Lovato's character after the accidental reveal but it seems like they have kept it the same.

Fans won't meet Dani until the second part of the Beatles tribute. According to OK! Magazine, Santana meets Dani at a diner she works at with Rachel. This will be the "Heart Attack" singer's first return to acting since 2010 when she left the Disney Channel show "Sonny With a Chance."

"I can't believe I'm going back to acting but the best part about it is that I get to act/sing with some of my really great friends," Lovato tweeted.

She has been tweeting about the recurring role constantly on Twitter and she recently told Ryan Seacrest that she was so excited to join the cast.

"I don't want people to take from this, 'Oh my God, Demi is kissing a girl.' I want people to take from it [that] this is actually an incredible step in our generation today where I'm able to play a young lesbian on primetime TV," Lovato said. "I'm honored to be able to... hopefully inspire people with my character to be who they are and not be afraid of it or ashamed."

Also leaked on YouTube is a recording of Dani and Santana's duet. The two ladies will be paying homage to the Beatles by singing a rendition of "Here Comes The Sun."

It has also been rumored that Dani will have another duet with "Glee" newbie Adam Lambert. Details about his character have remained under wraps but Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt, revealed that Lambert will be his nemesis in the new season.

"Glee" returns with its season premiere tomorrow (Sept. 26) at 9 p.m. on Fox.
