Shonda Rhimes To Produce New Medical Drama For ABC

Shondaland is about to get a little bigger! ABC has picked up another medical drama executively produced by Shonda Rhimes's Shondaland production company. Rhimes is also the executive producer for three other ABC shows including "Grey's Annatomy," "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder."

The untitled drama is about a U.S. Army Medical team who operates out of an American base in Baghdad in 2004, reported The Hollywood Reporter. The show is written and produced by Zoanna Clack, who also serves as a producer and writer on "Grey's Anatomy" and has a master's degree in public health. Rhimes and Betsy Beers, who is a producer on all three Shondaland shows. are producing the upcoming medical drama.

In addition to the new untitled show, Rhimes' Shondaland Productions has another show premiering midseason and two more in development. The first, which is still in development, is a drama about nuns that is still untitled. The second is a comedy about divorce called "Splitsville," The Huffington Post reported. The midseason premiere show is called "The Catch." The show stars Mireille Enos as a fraud investigator who gets taken by a con man played by Peter Krause, according to Deadline.

All three Shondaland shows that are currently on air premiere tonight, starting with "Grey's Anatomy" at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
