The two IPL teams of the CLT20 go head-to-head on Thursday. Hyderbad has played well in the tournament's qualifiers and looked in good form against Trinidad & Tobago. Hyderabad will look for another strong performance behind its skipper, Shikhar Dhawan.
"Shikhar is a cool guy," Hyderabad's Darren Sammy told CLT20.com, via IB Times. "Yes, he is the captain but if you come in our dressing room, you'll see that everybody thinks like a captain. At the end of the day Shikhar will make the decisions, but he is never short of advice.
"Because he is so cool and calm, he will most often make the right decisions for us. But there's help always available around him, and he knows that."
Hyderabad faces a strong Chennai team, which beat Hyderabad twice last season in the IPL, IB Times reports. Chennai has batted well behind its top order with Michael Hussey, Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina. Captain MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo round out the batsman with Jason Holder and Chris Morris providing the squad with solid bowling.
Still, as Hyderabad's previous game indicated, the Sunrisers are resilient.
"We're talking about Sunrisers here - we never say never, we never give up and do not accept defeat until the last ball is bowled," Sammy said. "We knew we needed something extraordinary to win from that position, but with the talent that we have, we back ourselves to win from any situation."
