Christina Aguilera Weight Loss Diet 2013: ‘Beautiful’ Singer Drops 50 Pounds By Eating Berries and Chicken

If you got it, flaunt it. Christina Aguilera looked stunning as she once again showed off her slim figure in a curve-hugging black dress during a Sept. 18 appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

The "Beautiful" singer has shed 49 pounds and is "as happy as can be, as fit as can be and as full of life as can be," Mark Burnett, producer of "The Voice" told Life & Style magazine.

"She looks amazing," he added.

In the latest issue of Life & Style a source revealed a glimpse of what Aguilera did to slim down and tone up. According to the source, in addition to cutting back on alcohol intake she also cut out unhealthy foods.

The 32-year-old started her day with blueberries, turkey bacon and half an avocado. She snacked on either shrimp cocktail or celery sticks with almond butter and for lunch she had chicken breast over a healthy salad and no creamy dressings.

The source said for dinner the singer would usually opt for chicken or fish curry and a glass of wine.

"Christina is refreshed and rejuvenated this season. She's really looking after herself and seems genuinely happy inside - and it shows," a source told the magazine.

Aguilera first showed off her weight loss back in June during the season finale of "The Voice." She had taken a short hiatus from the show to focus on her music career but a source told US Weekly that she also used that break to get back in shape.

She made headlines after gaining a reported 40 pounds after splitting from her husband Jordan Bratman.

"A lot of people were on her about her weight and it depressed her," the source said. "She went through a bad time because of the criticism."

Reportedly she signed up for a Fresh Diet program, a 1,600 calorie-a-day plan that allowed her to choose from a variety of nutritious meal plans.

Aguilera also reconnected with fitness guru Tee Sorge, who helped her get in shape for her role in "Burlesque."

"She did it all on her own. She goes online and picks out her food," the source said. "It's more of a mind-body thing for her. She believes in exercise that she enjoys, doing strength work as opposed to intense cardio."
