‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’: Thor Deleted Scene Revealed

Marvel has unveiled a deleted scene from "Avengers: Age of Ultron" involving Thor and the mysterious cave waters that provided him with his visions in the film. You can check the scene out below.

Similar to the original, this deleted sequence is equally as nonsensical. Although it provides a bit more background on the Infinity Stones and further introduces them to the human characters within the MCU, it ultimately just feels like an excuse for Chris Hemsworth to flex his shirtless muscles. Come now, Disney, you're better than that.

We will give the scene credit for (Spoiler Alert) foreshadowing Quicksilver's death, thus giving it a bit more meaning than the empty sacrifice in "Age of Ultron." Perhaps touching up this version would have made the original cave scene in the film a bit more understandable to audiences. Instead, both ultimately play as dolled up exposition.

Alas, we'll have to wait for Phase 3 to kickoff before we get anymore answers.
