'Dancing With The Stars' Elimination: Kim Zolciak's Future On The Show Revealed, Shocking Twist For Bottom Two Couples

During Monday night's episode of "Dancing With The Stars," we saw some major improvements from a lot of the contestants, but there are still a few celebs who just can't live up to the viewers and judges standards. The bottom two came down to Andy Grammer and his partner Allison Holker, who were completely shocked, and Paula Deen and her partner Louis Van Amstel.

As for Kim Zolciak, who suffered a mini stroke last week, ABC revealed that even though she was feeling better, her inability to get on a plane due to her health caused her to have to withdraw from the competition. Based on the official "DWTS" rules, if a contestant is sick or injured to the point where they cannot compete, they must take themselves out of the competition.

Since Zolciak was forced to withdraw from the elimination, there was a shocking twist for this week's elimination. Unfortunately for Zolciak, but luckily for Grammer and Deen, these two couples in jeopardy were told they could come back to dance next week. Nobody ended up going home, but the couples now understand that they really need to step their game up if they want to continue on the show. Last week, Grammer and Holker scored a 23 out of 30 while Deen and Van Amstel scored an 18 out of 30. There were a few other competitors, like Gary Busey and Carlos PenaVega, who scored lower than Grammer, so people were very surprised that he was in the bottom.

"I just wish her well," Zolciak's partner Tony Dovolani said following the news. "Family comes first. Health comes first. I am so happy she listened to the doctors." Zolciak, who was there via Skype, was extremely sad that she would not be able to continue on as she was excited to show the world what she could do. Dovolani jokingly begged the producers to bend the rules just this one time to continue, but host Tom Bergeron informed him that unfortunately, "rules are rules."
