Kanye West, Jimmy Kimmel Feud: ‘Yeezus’ Rapper Launches Twitter Tirade Over Interview Spoof (SEE TWEETS)

Kanye West went on a Twitter rant Thursday night lashing out at Jimmy Kimmel for making fun of him in a BBC interview spoof, the Daily News reports. On "Jimmy Kimmel Live" the late night funnyman had a child actor reenact West's BBC interview in which he talked about being the number one rock star on the planet and reaching a point in his career that Michael Jackson didn't even get to.

The spoof clearly upset West who took to Twitter to lash out Kimmel.

"Jimmy Kimmel is out of line to try and spoof in any way the first piece of honest media in years," West wrote in all capital letters. "Jimmy Kimmel, I don't take it as a joke... You don't have scum bags hopping over fences trying to take pictures of your daughter."

The rapper went on to name call Kimmel, make fun of the way he looked and even dragged Kimmel's ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman into it.

"Sarah Silverman is a thousand times funnier than you and the world knows it!!" West tweeted.

Kimmel tweeted back: "I swear, @kanywest one more of these I WILL unfollow you #warning #Goshdarnit."

The funnyman did address the Twitter rant on his show during his opening monologue and revealed that he got a very angry phone call from West.

"Quick question, did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago?" Kimmel said. "Kanye West called me about an hour - hour and a half ago in my office. He is very angry because of a bit we aired this week. He gave an interview to the BBC - and we had a kid actor - take the words and reenact it."

"He told me I had two choices - #1 apologize publicly. And that was really the only choice - the other choice he gave was 'my life... your life is going to be much better if I apologize,'" he continued.

Kimmel said in the phone call West compared himself to 2Pac several times and told him the skit was no laughing matter. Taking the attack in stride, Kimmel read the tweets to his audience giving a sarcastic explanation after each one and even taking a jab at Kim Kardashian's sex tape.

"Finally, I'm in a rap feud. I always wanted to be in a rap feud," he joked thanking West. "Right now we're at DefKanye Five."
