Arsenal is hellbent on signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to Metro.UK. Manager Arsene Wenger has kept Isco on his radar for several seasons and is determined to make a move for the Spanish international very soon.
Despite known interest from Arsenal, Isco knows his best shot at making the Euro 2016 squad for Spain centers around his playing time and production at Real Madrid. Since Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez have gone down with injuries early in the season, Isco's playing time has skyrocketed, according to Bleacher Report.
While a majority of his playing time has come off the bench, it is important for Isco to maximize his production while a part of the starting line-up. Once Bale and Rodriguez return, it will be back to the bench for the young Spaniard.
Arsenal already own multiple attacking options in the midfield but are always looking to add just one more player. Grabbing Isco would allow them to possess the ball better and even keep their limited forwards healthy, depending on how many Wenger plays during the game. Because of Isco's incredible talent and longevity, his addition to Arsenal would benefit all parties involved.
If the Gunners can secure his signature in the near future, there is no limit to what he can do for the club and the thought of a Premier League title is well within reach.
