Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long are over, according to Us Weekly. The celebrity couple has decided to end their two-year relationship "a few weeks ago." The split has reportedly left Long "heartbroken."
"They had different schedules and different lives. They just grew apart," a source told the outlet about the couple's relationship, adding that their relationship had been falling apart.
Another source told Page Six that the pair ended their relationship because Long wanted to take the next step in their relationship and get married; however Seyfried "wasn't ready to make the commitment." The source added that the "Mama Mia" star was ready to move on and had already developed interests in another guy.
In 2014, Long told the "TODAY" show that he and Seyfried were in their relationship "for the long haul," but a source claimed that their relationship had been on the rocks for some time. Seyfried and Long, who shared a $1.9 million apartment in New York City, started dating in 2013 after she found one of his Instagram posts funny.
In May, Seyfried told Vogue Magazine how she met and fell in love with Long, saying, "I thought something he said was really funny. It was a beautiful picture of a snail, and the caption said, 'F---KING MOOOOOOOOVE.' It made me laugh out loud, so I texted him."
Neither Long nor Seyfried have yet to comment publicly on the split.
Prior to dating Long, Seyfried dated Desmond Harrington and had a three-year-long relationship with British actor Dominic Cooper. Long was romantically linked to Drew Barrymore and Kate Mara.
