One of the major questions heading into Season 3 surrounds the character of Victoria’s long lost son Patrick (Justin Hartley). (Or maybe I should say, her son that she paid to stay away.)
There are probably many fans who are wondering what he’ll be up to in the Hamptons. Will he be like his mother? Will he get in on any of her schemes? Could he be an adversary to Emily?
In a recent on-set interview with EOnline, Hartley described his character—and his description may shock you.
"You know what I like about him,” Hartley asks rhetorically. “He's a good guy and he's not back to do anything other than be a good guy."
A relative of Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe ) is a “good guy”? What ?!
While fans may be a suspicious about Patrick, we know at least one person loves him—his mother.
"Victoria just adores him and wants to make up for every single thing she ever missed," Stowe tells the website.
I’m pretty sure that no matter how much of a good guy Patrick turns out to be, he’s going to have to eventually make a critical decision. Will he get sucked into all the Grayson craziness or stay away from it?
Emily/Amanda (Emily VanCamp) is still going after his mother and his stepfather is the governor of New York. If Patrick manages to stay out of the Grayson schemes and conniving plans—or if Victoria manages to keep him out—someone deserves some type of medal.
Season 3 of “Revenge” premieres Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9/8c on ABC.
