Although it's difficult to forecast at this stage where, when and how hard Hurricane Joaquin will hit, memes and jokes vis-à-vis its name have already started to take the internet by storm (pun intended), using the only famous person who shares the same name: Joaquin Phoenix.
Many people, including the NYPD, took to social media to share the first of possibly many Hurricane Joaquin Phoenix memes on Thursday, using the picture (which has since gone viral) to caution New Yorkers of the potential dangers the storm poses, according to Mashable.

Joaquin Phoenix has siblings named Summer, Rain, and River. And yet HE'S the one who gets a hurricane named after him.
