One Direction member Louis Tomlinson will return to where it all started for the boy band, at "The X-Factor" U.K. Tomlinson and One Direction placed third in the talent show in 2010 with the help from their coach, Simon Cowell. Tomlinson will help Cowell narrow down the list of talent during the judges house portion of the audition process, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Tomlinson will help Cowell with the "overs" this season in advance of the live shows. Mark Ronson will join Judge Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora will be helped by Meghan Trainor and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini paired with Jess Glynne completes the lineup.
News of the singers time on "The X-Factor" comes after One Direction announced they were taking a break from music and the news that Tomlinson was going to be a dad.
This past July, news broke that Tomlinson is expecting his first child with a Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth. The two met through mutual friends and while they are not in a romantic relationship with each other, they are both "super excited" about becoming parents. In late August, One Direction said they would take a break from the band in March 2016. The members assured fans that they were simply taking a break and they were not breaking up for good.
