A British ISIS jihadist called on "American brothers" to assassinate Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill who revealed last year that he was the SEAL team member who killed Al Qaeda leader Osama Bil Laden in a May 2011 raid in Pakistan's Abbotabad.
The anonymous ISIS jihadist, who called O'Neill "a number one target," also published his address on social media and slammed him for "travelling around America putting on seminars boasting about killing Sheikh Osama," according to Daily Mirror.
"I leave this info of Robert O'Neill for my brothers in America and Al Qaeda in the U.S, as a number one target to eventually hunt down and kill," the extremist wrote, according to Daily Mirror. Social media firms and websites have censored the Briton jihadist's post revealing O'Neill's address.
Butte-Silver Bow Police Department reportedly discussed the potential threat to Rob O'Neill with the FBI last weekend, according to Montana Standard. "O'Neill's family in Butte is aware and is taking proper precautions," Undersheriff George Skuletich said on Monday.
His father, Tom O'Neill, said that the ISIS threat is not matter of concern for him. "I say I'll paint a big target on my front door and say come and get us. My ex-wife gave birth to a man. We shouldn't be cowering in fear," he said, according to Express.
