As good as Taylor Swift songs are, they can sometimes be a little melodramatic. "The Late Late Show" host James Corden took full advantage of those lyrics and decided they made good lines for a fake soap opera, "The Bold and the Lyrical" which co-starred Julianne Moore and John Stamos.
"The Bold and the Lyrical" told the story of Juliette Moore, a woman who "gets drunk on jealousy" and James Cordone who "keeps cursing, can't stop and won't stop." The two are young and reckless lovers who always seem to take things a little too far. The scene opened up on Moore as she ridiculed Corden for his lateness.
"Where have you been?" she asked him.
"Baby is something wrong? I am only up when you're not down," Corden replied.
The sketch used lyrics of Swift hits like "Blank Space," "Bad Blood," "I Knew You Were Trouble," "You Belong with Me" and "Shake It Off."
After Moore and Corden got into a spat and Moore told him to "shake it off" and that they were "never ever getting back together," in walked Moore's ex John Stamosa, played by Stamos.
The sketch ended with all three speaking the lyrics to Swift's hit "22."
