Janet Jackson: Unbreakable (Rhythm Nation)
How long have Janet Jackson's fans been waiting for a new album? Well, the last time she put one out her brother Michael was still alive (2008's "Discipline). With her latest effort, "Unbreakable," Jackson returns to what fueled her beloved late-'80s/early-'90s output: the social commentary of 1989's "Rhythm Nation 1814" and collaborating with hitmakers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Check out the lyric video for "Burnitup!" featuring Missy Elliott below.

Clutch: Psychic Warfare (Weathermaker)
Clutch has been one of the more authentic and reliable bands in hard rock over the course of its nearly 25-year career, churning out an aggressive brand of rock that melds amped-up classic blues rock motifs with punk, stoner metal, funk and other flavors while never sounding derivative or clichéd. On the heels of 2013's well-received "Earth Rocker," which topped Billboard's Hard Rock Albums chart, "Psychic Warfare" brings more no-frills intensity as only Clutch can.

Check out frontman Neil Fallon and company in the wild video for "X-Ray Visions" below.

Collective Soul: See What You Started By Continuing (Vanguard)
Collective Soul's music was inescapable in the '90s, with songs like "Gel," "December" and "The World I Know" dominating radio airwaves as well as MTV and VH1 playlists. With nostalgia for the decade at an all-time high, the Georgia band has issued "See What You Started By Continuing," its ninth album.

Below, listen to album track "Contagious," a characteristically crunchy mix of guitars and memorable melodies that should please longtime fans.

The Zombies: Still Got That Hunger (The End Records)
The Zombies, behind some of the most memorable and haunting songs of the '60s in "Time Of The Season" and "She's Not There," are back with "Still Got That Hunger," which, surprisingly, is only the sixth studio album for the British psychedelic pop group. And unlike many bands from yesteryear, The Zombies still boast key original members, namely singer Colin Blunstone and organist and writer Rod Argent.

Listen to the Steely Dan-flavored "Moving On" from the new album below.

MOVIES
By Cal Setar

Pan (Warner Bros.)
Starring Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and Levi Miller as the titular character, this incredibly inventive origin story centers on the children's fantasy "Peter Pan." And because there can be no light without dark: a Peter Pan origin story must also reveal Captain Hook's beginnings.

The Martian (20th Century Fox)
Ridley Scott (Prometheus, Alien) directs this novel-based film starring Matt Damon as astronaut Mark Watney, lost and presumed dead on a manned mission to Mars. After his fellow crew members depart, Watney's faced with innumerable challenges as he attempts to find a way to survive alone, with limited supplies, on the red planet.

The Walk (Sony TriStar)
On Aug. 7, 1974, French high-wire artist Philippe Petit and his team pulled off one of the most amazing feats in human history, culminating in Petit's death-defying walk between the Twin Towers in New York City. This Robert Zemeckis-helmed epic tells the tale of Petit's troupe's efforts to pull of the dazzling stunt, from training with his mentor, Papa Rudy, to the group stealthy access to the tower roofs.

Steve Jobs (Universal Pictures)
Steve Jobs, one of the co-founders of Apple Inc., has long been considered a fascinatingly flawed character. Supremely successful in helping usher in the so-called digital revolution, Jobs "the man" seems to have been a far cry from Jobs the "innovator and businessman." Explored in-depth in this biopic penned by renowned writer Aaron Sorkin ("The Social Network"), Jobs' life as an electronics and information pioneer, as well as that of a man and father, is laid bare.

He and his two friends are geeks that are frequently roughed up at school, but when he's asked by a local dope dealer to bring a girl, Nakia, to a party, his whole world changes.
