Wednesday evening's performance of Roundabout Theatre Company's "Thérèse Raquin" was cancelled after Keira Knightley suffered what producers described as a "minor injury."
The extent of Knightley's injury is not yet known, but representatives from the theatre company, who announced the cancellation late Wednesday afternoon, said that performances are expected to resume on Thursday, according to NBC New York.
Knightley, who made her Broadway debut with "Thérèse Raquin," plays the lead role of a bored woman trapped in a loveless marriage until she embarks on an illicit affair with a friend of her husband's. The show is based on the novel by Emile Zola and is written by Helen Edmundson, according to The Telegraph.
This isn't the first time that the show has made news. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress was on stage performing last week when an audience member started shouting and throwing roses at the stage before he was escorted out by security, as HNGN previously reported.
The show officially opens on Oct. 29 at Studio 54.
