Beyoncé and Jay Z are on the hunt for a nanny for their daughter Blue Ivy. The power couple is reportedly seeking a French-speaking nanny to look after the 18-month girl, the National Ledger reports.
The hip-hop duo doesn't want just anybody looking after their little girl. Besides being bilingual, Beyonce and Jay Z want the nanny to teach little Blue French and be willing to travel around the world with them. Sounds like a pretty awesome job!
A source told The Sun newspaper that the couple has already started searching for the perfect nanny.
"Beyoncé and Jay Z have started advertising for a nanny who is happy to travel the world with them," the source said. "The other stipulation is that she is bilingual."
"They want a French speaker for a number of reasons," the source continued. "The family has a real connection with France and Beyoncé's nephew Julez is a French speaker, because his dad is French. They've already started seeing candidates and have been getting advice from friends including Gwyneth Paltrow."
Jay Z recently opened up to Vanity Fair about his daughter admitting that the little girl is his biggest fan.
"I don't know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album - she's only 18 months old and I don't play my music around the house," he said. "But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, 'More, Daddy, more... Daddy song.' She's my biggest fan. If no one bought the 'Magna Carta' [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy."
Beyoncé is definitely a close second to being his biggest fan and admitted that he had to work really hard to impress the "Diva" singer. He said he had to wine and dine her but it didn't work at first.
"She's a charming Southern girl, you know, she's not impressed," he explained.
Whatever Jay Z did to impress Beyoncé sure did work. The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony on 2008, seven years after they started dating.
