Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy is expected to make his first start this Sunday after serving a four-game suspension. On Saturday TMZ released a rap video featuring Greg Hardy where he apparently brags that he will never get "played" by a woman again.
The video includes the use of a stripper, gunfire, and marijuana imagery in a video acquired by TMZ Sports. The video was reportedly made when Hardy was suspended last season. This comes after Hardy made comments about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's wife, and using gun references in his return to the field.
"That's not how we want to operate as an organization, players and coaches in our organization understand that," head coach Jason Garrett said, via The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.com. "We want to distinguish ourselves with our play, not with what we say. We define ourselves by what we do, not by what we say. Greg understands that now and that's how we're going forward."
Hardy was originally convicted of assault back in the summer of 2014, but Hardy appealed the conviction, and the charges were dismissed after the accuser failed to show for court, according to ESPN.
When Hardy was asked about speaking out against domestic violence his response was, "I feel the best way to win a game is to stick to the game plan," via usatoday.com. Hardy clearly was trying to avoid the question, but it makes people wonder why Ray Rice who has spoken out about domestic is still not in the league, while Hardy continues to play and get paid.
Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones argued that Greg Hardy was innocent of the domestic violence accusation brought against him back in September. The Cowboys are constantly in the spotlight, and with this new video coming to light it likely only brings negative attention.
