It's October, a month that, for some, is synonymous with one thing and one thing only - Halloween. The holiday where people not only enjoy receiving a good scare, but encourage it. It is a season of gouls, goblins, monsters and, in this case, skeletons. A prankster rigged his car to frighten employees at drive-thru restaurants by having a skeleton behind the wheel.
Hiding behind the seat after ordering food on the intercom, the driver would pull up to the window and surprise employee by unapologetically having a skeleton with his hands on the wheel pull forward.
"Somebody's childish" one female employee said, later laughing it off. The majority of those being pranked saw the humor in the joke, especially the few times the skeleton appeared to control the car and drove off.
Those who didn't immediately laugh found themselves screaming. After all, no one expects the drive-thru patron to be anything but a hungry human being. Some of the best reactions came when employees were along in noticing the skeleton and needed to get the attention of other people working to confirm that what they were seeing was in fact real.
The prankster turns up the heat by moving the skeleton's body to face the window, making him able to put a second scare into anyone who dared get too close and even respond to questions and pose for photos.
"What brings you to Chick Fil-A tonight huh?" asked one chuckling employee.
"Chicken nuggets!" the prankster shouts from behind the seat while jerking the skeleton in excitement.
When they realized it was a prank, several people's first reaction was to pull out their phones and take a quick photo. On occasion this happened before the skeleton demonstrated that it could jerk toward them, resulting in some fantastic scares.
