Hilary Rhoda Marries Former NHL Player Sean Avery in Intimate Hamptons Ceremony (PHOTOS)

Hilary Rhoda and Sean Avery are married.

The 28-year-old model and the former NHL exchanged vows during a beautiful and intimate outdoor ceremony at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York on Saturday, People confirmed. Rhonda and her 35-year-old ex-New York Ranger beau announced their engagement in November 2013 after dating on and off for three years.

The bride walked down the aisle in a Carolina Herrera dress, which featured a plunging neckline with a sparkling green underlay. The dress also featured a low-cut back, black round studded collar and a cathedral-length veil. People reported that the Rhonda wore 14.7 carat diamond earrings on her big day. Her bridesmaids were seen wearing black halter cut-out gowns. For his wedding, Avery went tie-less in his black suit.

In several pictures posted on Instagram, the bride is seen beaming with joy. A Guest posted photos of the couple exchanging wedding vows at the altar with rustic lighting from the sun in the background. Rhoda posted on Instagram a photo of her in her wedding gown, with caption, "Laughed & cried tears of joy at the same time, what a special night."

The high-profile couple began dating in 2010 after meeting in a Manhattan bar. In June, the two opened up to Hamptons Magazine about planning their wedding.

"We're just getting it together now after a year and a half of being engaged," Rhoda revealed. "We're just starting to meet with wedding planners and figuring out when we're going to do it, but we're aiming for the fall. We're getting married in the Hamptons."

"We have a house out here," Rhoda said about her wedding location. "We've been spending so much time out here, every summer and a lot [of the rest of the year] too. We were thinking of doing it at some destination, but it really is just so much more personal and also a little bit easier than some exotic island somewhere."

Just two weeks before the couple's big day, Avery, who retired from hockey in 2012, was arrested after being pulled over by Southampton, N.Y., police who received reports that he was throwing objects at moving cars, Us Weekly reported at the time.

At the time, police found prescription painkillers, including oxycodone in Avery's possession. He was charged with criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bail. His lawyer told Us Weekly that, Avery "has prescriptions for the medications that were the basis of this charge and look forward to addressing the charges in court."

He is scheduled to appear at Southampton Village Justice Court on Oct. 26.
