Ronda Rousey has a boyfriend - and his name is Travis Browne.
During an appearance on "The MMA Hour" talk show, Browne, a fellow UFC fighter, revealed that he was romantically involved with Rousey and even shared some insights about their dating life.
The two reportedly first started talking over the summer.
"Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the s--t that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I'll say now that we are together," Browne told MMAFighting.com. "She's my woman and I'm her man. There's no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There's no dating. We're together.
"It's not weird. It's not something we have to adjust to. We've been doing that the entire time that I was here. She was doing her camps, I was doing mine without that thought process going through our head."
The two met when they became teammates at the Glendale Fighting Club in Los Angeles two years ago. Rumors started surfacing that Rousey and Browne were more than just teammates after they were photographed together earlier this year - but the two only recently started becoming involved.
Browne described Rousey as one of the "hardest-working athletes" he has ever seen, adding that she is in "the gym busting her butt on a daily basis."
"Through our own personal experiences of how compassionate and really how much of a sweetheart she really is. That's what a lot of people don't see out of her. They see that, but they don't really get to experience that," Browne added.
Rousey, who is notoriously private about her personal life, confirmed her courtship with Browne in a statement issued to ESPN on Monday.
"I don't talk about my personal life much. That's why it's called 'personal life,'" Rousey said. "It's true that Travis and I are in a relationship. I've really enjoyed the time we have spent together and getting to know one another. And that's all I'm going to say about it."
Browne has reportedly been separated from his estranged wife Jenna Renee Webb since June. In July, Webb accused Browne of domestic violence, but an investigation was conducted by UFC and no conclusive evidence was found.
