"Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon brought back his impeccable impression of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump Wednesday night. He also welcomed comedian David Alan Grier, who took on the role of Trump's opponent, fellow GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson. The two as Trump, who live tweeted the event, and Carson gave viewers of the late-night talk show a taste of what the two candidates might have thought while watching Tuesday night's first Democratic debate.
The two comedians took aim at the less than exciting debate while Fallon's Trump described the event as "hugely boring" and a "snooze fest."
"I tried watching it, but I guess I must've dozed off," replied Grier as Carson.
The two then set their eyes on Democratic presidential candidate Lincoln Chafee, who described himself as "a block of granite" during Tuesday's debate.
"He doesn't look like a block of granite," Fallon-as-Trump said. "He looks like a turtle that shops at Men's Warehouse. This debate is the saddest thing I've ever seen, and I've met Jeb Bush."
Grier's Carson slipped in-and-out of sleep throughout the sketch and even sipped on Nyquil at times.
"You keep making outrageous comments every day, saying outrageous things, yet you're going up in the polls," the fake Trump said to the sleepy Carson. "Stop stealing my campaign strategy."
