Lamar Odom, a two-time NBA champion, has been hospitalized since Tuesday after he was found unconscious, face down in Dennis Hof's Love Ranch brothel located in Crystal, Nev., as previously reported by HNGN. Odom was taken via ambulance to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, and now various sources have given conflicting reports about the nature of Odom's condition.
While Odom was placed in a medically-induced coma after being found unresponsive, there have been a few moments where Odom showed slight signs of improvement, a source close to Odom told Entertainment Tonight. Odom reportedly "briefly fluttered open his eyes," and his sister-in-law, Kim Kardashian, said that he squeezed her hand at one point.
However, another report claimed that Lamar squeezed his estranged wife Khloé's hand Wednesday night, TMZ reported. But a source told the site that doctors said it could have been an involuntary movement on Odom's behalf.
Odom has been surrounded by friends and family at this difficult time. Khloé hasn't left his side, and is there along with her sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kylie Jenner and mother Kris Jenner. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also flew out Odom's family, including his father Joe, his daughter Destiny, son Lamar, aunt JaNean and ex Liza Morales, as previously reported by HNGN.
His family's main concern is his kidneys, which have started to fail him, the source told ET. Odom remains in critical condition on life support.
Along with his kidneys, four other organs have stated to fail, according to TMZ. Doctors have given Odom a 50/50 percent chance of survival.
"The doctors are concerned it has been too long that he's been in this condition," a source told TMZ, "and now it's not looking good."
