A Japanese master swordsman stepped into a batting cage and sliced a 100 mph baseball in this incredible footage.
The swordsman's name is Isao Machii, and he is a Guinness World Record-holder. Machii is a master of laido, a Japanese sword-based martial art. The Japanese swordsman holds a world record for 1,000 cuts of rolled straw mats with a sword in 36 minutes and four seconds, according to Guinness World Records. Machii has sliced many different speeding objects, including an 80 mph fried shrimp. He also has incredible precision, as he has sliced through bb pellets from a good distance away. While Machii may have been around for quite some time, he is truly becoming world known after slicing this baseball. Machii must have incredible hand-eye coordination, as he shows that baseball players don't have it so tough with such a large bat.
