While former NBA star Lamar Odom still remains in critical condition in a hospital in Las Vegas, his estranged wife Khloé Kardashian is making sure he gets the respect he deserves. Dennis Hof, the owner of the brothel at which Odom was first found unresponsive, has been speaking out about Odom's stay and even bashing Kardashian in the process.
While giving an interview on an Australian morning show on Thursday, Hof took the opportunity to explain the events while also telling Kardashian to "go to hell," as HNGN previously reported. Apparently, her public relations people weren't very happy with Hof's decision to do interviews because they preferred that Kardashian do any media. "I don't care about the Kardashians and their big butts," he told the radio show, leaving Kardashian no choice but to kindly ask him to be a little more respectful during this tragic time.
"We reached out to Dennis. Politely asking him to respect Lamar's (and Khloé's) privacy during this difficult time, and refrain from talking to the press," her reps told Us Weekly. "This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad."
The Australian morning show isn't the only time Hof has spoken out, either. On Thursday, he also spoke to Wendy Williams, telling her exactly how much Odom had spent at the brothel.
"I know what happened," Hof also told CBS News, trying to defend himself. "I'm the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it."
Odom still remains in a coma, and according to the most recent updates, his health is deteriorating. He hasn't shown any improvement from the overdose, and the mix of cocaine and the herbal Viagra in his system are just too dangerous for someone to completely recover from. Doctors still are giving him a 50/50 chance of survival, but even if he does pull through, it is unlikely he will ever live a normal life again.
Kardashian and her family, as well as Odom's family, are by his side and are asking everyone for their prayers.
