Shakira to Perform at T-Mobile's Upcoming ‘Uncarrier 3.0’ Launch

T-Mobile, one of the biggest mobile carrier services in U.S. has hired the famous pop star, Shakira for its next big announcement, also called 'Uncarrier 3.0', scheduled on 9 October.

T-mobile, had been initiating marketing strategies like wireless contracts and phone subsidiaries over the time to increase its consumer base. T- Mobile while unveiling its Phase II Uncarrier move announced the wireless company to come up with its next phase of strategic move, in the later part of the year. The T-mobile subscribers will not have to wait that long as the mobile carrier plans to publicize its next market proposition on the following Wednesday.

The company CEO, John Legere sounded too excited and hopeful about the upcoming event that will include some industry practices, 'driving people nuts and "any nonbelievers left" for the company. This one will be more fun than the last two," he said. "I can't wait for them to get comfortable and spring this," stated Legere at a press meet, reveals a recent post on tomonews.

More interestingly the wireless company has paired up with the 'Hips don't lie', singer Shakira to reveal 'Uncarrier 3.0'. Shakira will make a short performance on the show, offering a surprising opening act for the T-Mobile subscribers as claims the Bonn, company reports CNet. The company started sending out invitations to media houses and selective customers in the north-east region. The company has not spilled out of what the subscribers can expect in the third strategic phase except the invitations sent were festooned by images of Shakira, posing for the event.

T-Mobiles had been benefited a lot on its last two Uncarrier ventures and aspire for the same from the third one too. The first of the two plans removed the mandate of the year long contract offered alongside the device and other tariff packs and the subscribers just have to bear a few additional bucks to avail the discounted plans. The second one meant to be a device up-gradation for the existing subscribers who will receive upgraded phones twice a year in exchange of their dated devices.

With such defensive polices impending the mobile carriers,T-mobiles aims for adding up more than 600,000 new postpaid subscribers in the last two quarters of 2013, reads the tomonews report.
