Heart Attack Grill Owner Displays Cremated Remains Of Customer On TV 'At Least I'm Honest' (SEE IT)

The owner of the Vegas based Heart Attack Grill proudly displayed a dead customer's cremated remains in a bizarre Television interview with Betty Liu.

In the Bloomberg Television interview, Heart Attack Grill owner Jon Basso said the food "will kill you," The Telegraph reported.

"I'm probably the only restaurateur in the entire world who is unapologetically telling you that my food is bad for you, that it will kill you, and you should stay away from it," Basso said, Time reported. Basso's restaurant boasts the Guinness World Record for "Most Caloric Burger."

The restauranteur was "unapologetic" about his food, but was being honest about the nutritional content unlike other popular restaurants.

"From the Single Bypass Burger all the way up to the Octuple Bypass Burger our unique diet program provides patients with a steady upward weight gain," the Heart Attack Grill website stated.

During the interview Basso pulled out clear bag filled with the powdery remains.

"I'm here with the cremated remains of someone who died at my restaurant. He died of a heart-attack at my restaurant, and I'm putting the bag clearly on the table. I wish that Burger King, McDonalds, and everyone else would do the same thing," he said, Time reported.

"John, wait... hold on one second," Liu responded. "This is getting a little grim. You're saying you have the actual cremated remains of someone who died at your restaurant?"

"Absolutely," Basso, said. "because the entire fast-food industry is pretty grim."

Basso said he hoped people stopped eating his food, but admitted he made good money by joking around about the medical consequences of their food.

"Do I want others to die at my restaurant? No. Actually I want to wake up one morning and open the door and have no one ever come in again, because maybe the world would have learned the truth," the owner said. "Now, I make good money joking about how bad my food is. But at least I'm honest."

"It's not a joke," Liu said. "You have people actually dying from your food, [Jon], I mean, isn't there some responsibility here?"
