Sprint Offers Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $49.99

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launched a month ago is being offered on U.S. carriers at a discounted rate. Sprint will be retailing the device at $49.99 for buyers signing a two year contract.

The device for the moment will be offered in a single color(white) for the moment. The black midnight edition will be available Christmas onwards, according to a recent post on androidorigin.

Alongside Sprint, AT& T has also come up with premium offers for its subscribers . The telecommunication company will be offering the Note device for $ 299.99 on a two year contract. A single year contract will cost $549.99. For a sim free contract, the subscriber will have to spend around, $724.99.

It is the first time that Samsung has tried a new design for its flagship device with a leather texture around the edge. Another added feature is a slim S -Pen.

It has a 5.7-inches Super AMOLED screen with a resolution output of 1,920X1, 080 pixels. The LTE version of Note III is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, whereas the 3G version features has a 1.9GHz octa-core processor. It has a 3GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, reports GSMarena.

The battery backup of the tablet has been improved. The device will be available in two internal storage capacity variants of 32GB and 64GB and will also offer a micro SD card slot.

When it comes to the camera, the tablet sports a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The rear camera will be capable of shooting video in 4K, a feature that is only available on Acer Liquid S2, as of now.

With other tech giants trying their hands with different colors like Sony launching a purple variant Honami, HTC One having new red and blue variants, it appears that the South Korean Company too is trying to experiment with colors. The Galaxy Note III is available in two monochromatic colors black and white and as predicted the device will come in pink and gold variants too.
