Sandra Bullock is still a mother-of-one. The "Gravity" actress is setting the record straight on rumors saying that she had expanded her family with the adoption of an infant girl.
Bullock was congratulated by a report on her recent adoption during an interview with the Associated Press Wednesday in which she was promoting her upcoming film "Our Brand in Crisis," which also stars Billy Bod Thornton.
Not so fast!
"There is only one adopted child in my household and his name is Louis," the actress replied. "If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it. I would be loud and clear and say 'Yes, I have officially adopted a second child.' Right now, Louis must be it."
The actress had already finalized the adoption for her daughter and had already moved her into her Los Angeles home, RadarOnline reported earlier this month. The adopted news hit headlines shortly after Bullock and her new boyfriend Bryan Randall, an L.A. photographer, moved in together. A source was quoted telling the website that Bullock made it "quite clear to her boyfriend from the start that she's looking for a husband to raise kids with."
Bullock adopted her son Louis, who is now 5 years old, in 2010. She revealed in an interview with BET that she "absolutely" teaching him lessons on racism and the other issued faced by minorities.
"He fully understands what that means," Sandra told BET. "He doesn't understand why people judge each other based on color of their skin, but he knows they do. He also knows there's sexism, he knows that there's homophobia."
"I think if you don't start the conversation very early on, you're doing them a disservice," Bullock continued. "I want him to know that I did my best, as his mom, to educate him on the ugliness in the world, and also the beauty."
"Our Brand in Crisis" is in theaters Oct. 30.
